The heART of the Land
This is an experimental, experiential and on-going creative mapping project set in Vancouver, BC. It is based on a desire to explore and enchant the land upon which I live and love, and deepen my roots, relationships and connections with the world around me. The intention of the map is to venture out into my community, create sustainable and non-damaging art on location, and then to photograph these art pieces and upload them to this map. As land art and eco-art is often ephemeral in it’s duration, temporary and changing by nature, photography is the best way to ‘capture’ these art pieces before, during and after process.
